By accessing or using Altagonist ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Altagonist is a WordPress plugin that generates alt text for images using artificial intelligence. The Service includes the WordPress plugin, our API, and the associated website and account management tools.

Paid subscriptions are billed annually in advance. Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes where required.
Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation. Credits reset on the first of each month and do not roll over to the next month. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us at our contact page.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Altagonist. You retain ownership of your images and content. The alt text generated by the Service may be used freely on your websites.
Alt text is generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that generated descriptions will be 100% accurate or appropriate for all contexts. You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated alt text before publishing.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altagonist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
